Wild Daisy creates new clothing using pre-loved textiles. Please read our sustainability policy to find out how much we care about our impact on the planet.
Meet Daisy.
As a seamstress, I’ve worked for a 5 star hotel, an haute couture bridal atelier, a vintage clothing alteration and repair specialist, and a vintage clothing shop. My love of fashion has had me running workshops in India, standing in the rain on a UK market stall and on the Paris catwalk! I love it all!
Being part of the quirky vintage shop, Rocky & Kook, gave me the confidence to design things that I loved, not what I felt everyone else should love. They gave me a stash of denim offcuts to play with and my first Wild Daisy designs came out of it. It was a huge confidence boost to me when my first denim patchwork collection sold out in Rocky & Kook back in 2019.
In 2020 I won a Young Innovator’s award with a grant to develop Wild Daisy and have found myself at the heart of a new family of Young Innovators.
I’m so happy that the important core principles of sustainability, inclusivity and ethical working practices have been praised and supported along my career and extended my working family.
Wild Daisy is my baby and I enjoy making and wearing my patchwork designs as much today as I did when I started out. I hope you like them too.
“Very excited to announce that I am one of this years Young Innovators Award Winners 🎉

Half of young people in the UK think their age is a barrier to business success with nearly a third lacking the confidence they need to turn their idea into a reality.
As part of UK Research and Innovation, Innovate UK along with our partners The Prince’s Trust, want to give inspiring young entrepreneurs the opportunity to take their business idea to the next level through our Young Innovators programme and #IdeasMeanBusiness campaign.
The programme seeks to nurture the talents of tomorrow, ensuring that every part of the country powers our collective success, whilst tackling some of the most important challenges our society faces. It will support young people over 3 years with individuals benefiting from a £5,000 grant, one-on-one coaching and an allowance to cover living costs.
#IdeasMeanBusiness campaign was devised to encourage and empower young people from any background to innovate and be successful. It encourages and enables entrepreneurship and innovation among more young people and brings new diverse ideas, passion and expertise into the innovation ecosystem.
